After the bridal colors and groomsmen have been selected, you and your fiancee will select tuxedo colors and styles at least two to three months before the wedding day, more if the wedding is taking place around prom time. Everyone should be measured before the tuxes are ordered, ensuring a proper fit. Once the tuxedo shop receives the order, everyone must try their tuxedos on as this is the last time for alterations. Have the tuxedo shop employee demonstrate how to put on the tuxedo and all its accessories, so there are no mishaps the day of the wedding.

Before leaving the shop check to see that everyone has EVERYTHING (shoes, ties, cuff links, black socks, etc.). You should also designate one person who will be responsible for returning all of the tuxedos. This way you and your bride will have no worries as you enter into married bliss.
